I've spent over 25 years working in the helping professions, supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life's most challenging moments. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, and I'm committed to creating a safe space where you can be heard and explore what matters most to you.

I believe good therapy starts with being heard. My approach combines clinical expertise with genuine care—using evidence-based methods tailored to you, whether you're working through trauma, managing anxiety, or exploring deeper relational patterns. You'll find me direct, supportive, and committed to the measurable progress that leads to real change in your life.

A structured, evidence-based approach for processing trauma and PTSD. We work together to safely address traumatic memories and build new coping strategies.
Practical, goal-oriented work that helps you recognize patterns in thinking and behavior, then make intentional changes that ease anxiety, depression, and anger.
Combines mindfulness practices with cognitive techniques to increase awareness, reduce rumination, and build resilience.
Addresses deep-rooted patterns and unmet needs, helping you understand why certain struggles repeat and how to address them at their root.
When it helps, we look at the relational patterns that shape how you connect with others, drawing on psychodynamic, emotionally focused, and interpersonal techniques to understand where those patterns come from and build on what's working.

Therapist, LCSW
I have been working in the helping professions my entire adult life. I first became licensed over 25 years ago and have had the pleasure of helping many people over the years, both online and in my private practice. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families seeking counseling and served as a supervisor to newly licensed counselors and therapists. While serving on the Faculty at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as the Assistant Director for the Office of Clinical Services and Senior Data Analyst, I learned the importance of setting measurable outcomes for treatment.
Yes, I am experienced, trained, and qualified, but most importantly, I care about the people that I am working with. Ultimately, I view myself as “a helper.” My promise to you is that I will strive to provide the best care that I can for you. I am committed to doing my best to help with whatever is brought to me. For me, the most important part of the helping process is the connection and empathy shared with those that I am helping.
I have learned that “no two people are alike,” and “no two situations are alike.” When we engage in a therapeutic connection, that is a one-of-a-kind experience. The unique therapeutic connection that is established has never happened before, and will never happen again.
